We are happy and proud to announce that Lara has been upgraded to version 2.01 which includes the following changes and new functionalities:

New Change Layout Organisation and options

The Change Layout and Add Feature functionalities have been merged – they now have one button and are listed in the same box appearing on the left side of your screen and now you can customize your columns to the exact size you want.

Click on Edit Page on top of the page you want to edit, style or add features to. Then click on the Change Layout or Add Feature button. This will load a box with all available features as well as the layout controls.

To add a new feature to your page, click on the feature you want to add, hold it and drag it into the column you want.

In order to make changes to your page layout click Change Layout. Click on the row (on the page) that you want to layout (this will highlight the row) and click on a layout on the left. The selected row will now have the new column layout. If you want to change the width of a particular column click on the line between and drag it to where you want it to be.

For instance, you have a 3 column layout but you want the first column to be a little bit smaller (and the middle one a little bit bigger) than the layout provided.  Hover your mouse over the line between column 1 and 2.  When you see the resize arrow showing and the text “Click and drag to resize column”. Drag this line to the right until you have the size you want and let go of the line.

Add rows by clicking the "Add Row" button.

To delete a row, select one and click delete. Please note that your content in that particular row will also be deleted.

Media List Renamed

Please note that the Media List has been renamed to Content List. The Content List is needed in order to display regularly changing content such as a list of blog posts or news articles.

Resize Image

Photos being added to your pages (not through a content list) can now be changed in size. The uploaded photo is automatically resized to fit the size of the image feature box, meaning even if you upload a big image it will always fit into your section on the page (even if you upload a big photo).

If you decide to resize your image you can do that by clicking on Edit Page which loads the Edit tools and then Edit on your Image feature box. Click Resize and then click on the little box at the bottom right corner of the image. Click and drag the image inwards to make your photo smaller, drag it out to make it bigger. Click on Full Size if you want to display your image in the original full size.

Click Save to save your changes or Cancel to undo everything and return to your previous settings.

After resizing your image you might want to check if your new size fits your page layout or if you need to adjust the size of your columns. (Through Change Page Layout).

New Site Design Organisation

The site designer components are now organised in a new way.
Instead of having all style options at the top, they are now moved to the side box with the style components. This way it will be easier to click through the different style options from anywhere on your page as the style box is moving with you even when you scroll down.

Choose the design component (background, menu, content etc.) you want to style from the top bar. A box with all available style options will open at the left side of your page (or right if you have a left aligned design). You will see the different available style options (classic, pictures, transparent, rounded etc.) with the component. Click a style option to see the available styles.

A Preview button has been added with which you can see your full website in the current design without any site design controls. Click Preview to see your current style and Exit Preview to go back to the Site Designer to save your design or to make more changes.

File Library - Cut and Paste

A new organisation as well as "Cut-and-Paste" functionality have been added to the File Library.

All library folders are now on one screen.  Click twice on a folder (click once to select it and then again to open it) to view, edit or upload files.

To go back one level use the breadcrumbs at the top of the library: >>Site>>Pictures>>Your Folder

You can now cut and paste files in your file library, to move a photo or file from one folder to another. Select the photo you want to move by clicking on it once. Then click Cut and go to the folder you want to move the photo into. Click Paste and the image will be pasted into this folder.

You may select several photos at once by selecting and cutting and then paste them into one folder.

Enjoy!

We hope you find these new changes and upgrades useful and they will help you to design and manage your website in an easy and friendly way.
