Is this your first time?

If this is your first time creating a Lara website you should know a few things before you sign up.  

Lara is designed to allow anyone to create a professional website which they can use for their business or blog and we take the word "professional" very seriously.  If you want to build a website for your business keep a couple of things in mind:

1. Building a website takes some time and learning - No matter which system you choose to use to build your website it is going to take some time to learn the new tools and decide how you want it to look and what you want to put on it.  Our project management system tries to takes this into account and walks you through all the steps that you'll need to take both inside our system and inside your head to build a great website.  We estimate that even a simple site will take you approximately 4 hours to build.  
   
   
2. Once you have a website you have to keep working on it - It's not 2001 anymore.  This means that when you create a website today it has to become an active, engaged component of your business to be successful.  Search engines will rate your site higher if you continue to add new content and make changes.  So while you can put a simple page up with a little info about you, to get the most out of your site you should be thinking about how to incorporate your website in the long term planning of your business.  Lara provides you with all the tools you need to build and maintain an engaging website.
   
   
3. We're here to help -  We've built a great project management system that walks you through step by step what you need to do for your site.  When you create an account the first place you land is in our help system.  So if you want to do something just look for it in the project list and it will setup a plan and walk you though it.
