Text Area

The Text Area is used to display static content that means text that will not change very often but gives general information (e.g. a welcoming text on the home page, a constitution, general information about an organisation etc.).

You need to put a Text Area feature onto your page where you want to display your text. Go to Edit Page > Change Layout or Add Feature and drag Text Area from the left bar to where you want to have that text displayed. Then click Edit on the Text Area feature box type in the title and the main text in the appropriate fields. You can edit the text using the edit tools (just like a Word document).

Use the Style tools to style the feature box and click Preview to see how your text area looks like on the page or Save when you are happy with how everything looks.

To delete a text area click Edit Page and then Delete on the Text Area feature box.
